Happy Birthday Sabrina

Over the years my sweet daughter Sabrina has given me joy along with the grief too, but it certainly has made me stronger these past few years. Sabrina is now sweet 16 and she has grown into a beautiful young lady. Happy Birthday to you....

Hawaiian Festival

This past weekend I took the kids to an awesome Hawaiian Festival at the Tempe Town Lake. The weather was beautiful and so were the dancers. I was amazed at how the women can shake their hips so fast to the beat of the drums and their outfits were outstanding. This has been a great way to start out our Spring Break with the culture, food, and of course each other. Just wish I could take a vacation to Hawaii someday...Awwww the wishing upon dreams( Hint?)

Here is the excitement of the house...it was crowded for sure...but the music was awesome...loved it!!! Going back next year.....for bachata, salsa, merengue dancing...yeah!!!

Enjoying the Az sunshine

My kids had a 4-day weekend, so we found several things to do outside in our beautiful Az weather. We went to the Renaissance Festival to check out the great food there, and it was relatively pleasant outside. We also went to a hoop dance festival at the Heard Museum, and had yummy frybread...so good too. We also went for a hike up the the White Tanks Mtns, and got some much needed fresh air and exercise on the trails there. Time spent in the Az sun was well worth our time with the kids.....

Past Vacations to Different Places

As a family over the years we have ventured to a few places to explore new sights. I enjoy traveling with them to give them some experiences of different adventures. To the right here is a photo of them at ASU where they were able to get their faces painted which was great. Above: The Grand Canyon 2005

Disneyland 2004- Ana(5) was terrified of him at first....Below and Above are also photos from Disneyland and we had such great memories of going there.

Mt. Graham in Safford (Michael & Alex) I ended up taking 9 kids camping alone and it was certainly crazy with only one adult to chaperone them all. They had a blast with their cousins too
